OK, well, if you were wowed by Já!, be prepared to be dazzled by Taj!

Taj was filmed in Ravi’s basement in 1988 while his parents were away in India (therein lies the inspiration for the title). It must have been spring break as Moss was home from college at UofM. Some amazing moments in this have become parts of our language (and when I say “our,” I mean Moss, Ravi and myself). Moss’ classic “Well no, well no…” during the refrigerator magnet sketch being among the most pervasive of those bits.

Saradhi makes a cameo appearance… and the first-gen Air Jordan t-shirt I’m sporting is pretty sweet too!!

Obviously this monumental work laid the groundwork for Já! to follow along many years later. Will this creativity continue on?? Stay tuned…
