Let’s see…I’m getting bad about blogging. I’ve got a couple of really good pictures I want to put up here, but it’ll have to wait. Maryellen and I are in our week of wearing glasses prior to LASIK. It’ll be nice to get up in the AM and be able to see. My eyes are pretty bad, in fact, so bad that they might have to use the “Other laser” to do my eyes. Yeah…the OTHER laser.
We had a good lazy weekend.
Tonight is the first official meeting of the Duke and Duke investment club. Good group of guys and it’s a very good learning experience.
In the past 10 days, I’ve been approached by 3 job opportunities. THREE! Sheesh! One of them I’ve flat-out said no thanks, but the other two are at least intriguing. I like Glasstech, but after a year, I’m doing a LOT. I’m thinking my pay isn’t quite on par with my duties. So, it’s always prudent to keep the options open.
I’m off to get my blood drawn this AM. Cholesterol check. I’ve been 264 and 242 the past two times for my total cholesterol count. Not very good. We’ll see if a year’s worth of exercising did anything to that number.
