Some of the most amazing pictures I’ve seen in a long time from a guy named Bernard Zee… Fleet Week in San Francisco with a Blue Angels fly-by (or sneak pass) barely 20 feet above the water of the bay… seemingly dodging the masts of sailboats.

I’m sitting in the waiting room at Tire Man in Maumee using their wi-fi to catch up on things…

Bought 4 new Kumho tires for my Mazda. Realized I needed them when everyone else at the traffic light moved when the light turned green in a very light snowfall and I just sat there and spun the wheels. Car only has 25,000 miles on it… must put crappy OEM tires on. Guess we’ll see if these last a little better. Of course, the fact that they’re kind of fat and low doesn’t help a whole lot in wet/snow. 205/15 – 17″-ers…

Looking at YouTube just now, I realized that my video of me eating the jolokia pepper earlier this year has gotten over 30,000 views. That is just insane. Funny, because I’ve eaten quite a few more of them now, and, while hot, they’re not as deadly as they seemed that first go-round.

Hmmmm, Laurie… I’ve been trying to email you for a couple weeks and the Reserve computers keep bouncing my emails back to me. So, if you read this, could you drop me an email? I seem to remember before, if you started the email conversation, I could reply, but I can’t start it for some reason. Who knows?? Silly government.

I haven’t blogged in a while. Sorry about that. (not really sure WHO I’m apologizing to here….)

Snow flying has made me realize I need some tires for my car. We went to see Spamalot last weekend (HILLARIOUS) and the weather was frightful. At a red light, other cars would go when the light turned green, while my car spun its tires and just sat there.

Was down for the last 36 hours or so with some kind of a stomach bug… that’s always fun….

Not a whole lot to say right now….

OH.. check out Andrew’s book! (well, Andrew and Dave’s…) I really need to put some effort into writing them a real review and pushing it a little more. It’s a fantastic read if you’re at all into college hoops. A great read if you’re into hearing of a couple of college guys just road-tripping their heads off, freezing their butts off, and doing everything in their power to meet the best coaches EVER in college basketball! Destination Basketball… pick up a few dozen copies for Christmas!!!

Well, I had Monday off, so, what did I do? I made a pumpkin pie from scratch. Yep, crust and everything. And you know what? It turned out GREAT!! I topped it off with some whipped cream that I whipped myself with some sugar and brandy… DELISH!!! Check it out from start-to-finish in the gallery.

Motorcycle Man!!!

So, you know how when you drive the same route to work every single day at the same time you end up passing the SAME vehicles on a daily basis, right? I first noticed “Motorcycle Man” when I was pulled over along-side the road with one of Woodville, Ohio’s finest writing me an $85 ticket for a stop sign violation I still say never occurred. Nonetheless, here came this guy on a motorcycle… I made note because his headlight was dimmer than it should be… sort of an orange-ish color instead of white. And it was drizzling… I thought “It would suck to be on a motorcycle in this…”

Since then I’ve seen him every single morning. EVERY MORNING. Today is November 2… when I passed Motorcycle Man this morn, I looked at my dashboard thermometer and it said the outside temperature was 29F. TWENTY-NINE and he’s riding his motorcycle!!! Headlight still dim… saving gas I guess?

Some may call him crazy… but me? I like him. Go, Motorcycle Man… GO!!!
