The future
So I thought a few times today about the future… this little girl might be getting married some day, she might have kids, she might not, she might be into music, she might be good at math, she might lead a life of crime, she might discover the cure to cancer, she might… etc… etc… etc…
It’s so overwhelming to think that Maryellen and I created something (with God’s help) that is so beautiful and perfect right now… and that we’re responsible for her for the next 18+ years.
I keep thinking…. “ummmmm, little help here??” 😉

Wish I had some words of wisdom but I don’t, unfortunately they don’t come with instructions manauals. All I can say is you’ll be amazed at how quickly they grow up so cherish every moment AND things don’t change when they turn 18, you worry about them and love then just as much, you just have to learn to let them lead their own lifes and pray that you did the right thing when you were trying to teach them. Congratulations to all of you, she’s a beautiful baby and I’m amazed she wasn’t crying in any of the pictures, even when she was getting her bath.
You two will be the BEST parents – all I kept thinking as I watched that slideshow is how lucky Andersyn is to have you both for parents! You’ll do Great!
That is such a sweet picture! I am so happy for you both! Tell Maryellen the pictures make it look like childbirth is easy! Seriously, who looks that good after all that…Maryellen! I hope you first days are going well!
Wow, what a beautiful baby girl, you guys do a great job and Maryellen looks great in every picture ( and so do you Grant). We are all so happy for you, enjoy the moments, they fly by.
