My high school band director retires…
Nice little tribute article in the Port Clinton news paper about the band director I had for 6 years… He taught me how to play french horn and bass guitar. SO many fantastic memories in my life revolve around the bands I’ve been in and music. Mr. Williams is responsible for at least some of that passion and a lot of those memories.
Check the article and photo here.
OH… and an interesting tid bit… Mr. Williams has owned Section L, row 8, seat 1 (one row behind what’s now my ticket) in Anderson Arena for as long as my dad and I have held L,7,1. 🙂

Did this “Mr. Williams” also shimmy his way past the guards in order to not sit in the seat mentioned on his ticket? 😉
Wow, natsukashii, ne! Thanks for the article. Being in the band with you and all the others are of course my fondest memories of high school. By the way, do you know how to get in touch with him?
I’m with Moss….I need an address or something. Think I can still send something to the school? 99% of my greatest memories revolve around his classroom.
Ditto on Mr. Williams and the Awesome Memories – I know it sounds cliche but it really does seem like only yesterday . . . .
