Follicular Adenoma
Well, we got the final lab results back yesterday afternoon, and the original diagnosis of follicular neoplasm has been modified. Instead what they removed was a follicular adenoma, which is a BENIGN growth of the thyroid! YAY!! Talk about a load off!
I know all the testing and uncertainty was necessary… but geez, it would have been SO nice to have known this back when the whole saga began. Well, we know now, so it’s reason to celebrate!!

That’s great news!!!
Trust me dude, been there. When my son was just over 1 yr old, he had a week-long stay in the hospital because of what the doctors initially thought was kidney failure…turns out it was just an intestinal bug and he was dehydrated! Nothing like scaring the ever-loving crap out of us! Anyhow, great news and thanks to God for His grace…
Happy, happy! Joy, joy!
Awesome, awesome news!
WHEEEE!
SUCH GOOD NEWS – YEA!!!!!!! Thank God!!!!
Very good to hear!!!
Splendid! Though, “neoplasm” is a much cooler word than “adenoma”…
