Harrison’s New Car
Well, yesterday Maryellen and I gave her ’96 Sunfire to our going-on-16 nephew, Harrison. We had co-ordinated it with his parents over the past weeks and they had kept it secret from the kids. They were TOTALLY floored and surprised and excited!! How fun?!?!?! Our only stipulation to Harrison was that when Kayla (the next-oldest) turn 16, they have to share… etc… AND Harris’ only payment is that he “pay it forward” with a good deed to someone else.
What fun! It was totally exciting to see those kids and the smiles on their faces. Harrison’s parents had been pushing the fact that he’d have to be driving the family mini-van when he turned 16 and it was really starting to get him down. 🙂 There’s photos available by clicking on this one below…

Though I would have given ya a beer for the driver’s side seat, the passenger side front quarter panel, the speakers and quite possibly a floor mat or two. 😀
